Lake Toxaway Estates Celebration (Club Members)

  • When: Friday, July 3rd
  • What: A beautiful private celebration for club members to kick off the holiday weekend with premium lakeside luxury and community camaraderie.

250th Celebrate America Festival (Community Center & North Toxaway Baptist Church)

  • When: Saturday, July 4th | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • What: A massive hometown gathering honoring 250 years of independence. Bring the family out for an Indoor Craft Show, a Classic Wheels Car Show, live music, clogging performances, and kids' activities like horse and buggy rides. Dig into classic $1.00 hot dogs while exploring historical displays and local craftsmanship demonstrations highlighting the unique cultural heritage of Transylvania County.

Cashiers & Lake Glenville Events

Cashiers Fireworks Extravaganza on The Green

  • When: Friday, July 3rd | 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM (Fireworks at dark)
  • Where: The Village Green Commons Lawn (160 Frank Allen Rd)
  • What: This free community celebration features an open-air, high-energy live performance by Commodore Fox. Grab dinner from local food trucks like Elevated Kitchen, enjoy sweet treats from Crossroads Custard, and enjoy cold craft beer pours from Innovation Brewing. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to secure your spot under the stars! (Note: Please leave pets and personal tents at home).

28th Annual Lake Glenville Fireworks & Gala Boat Parade

  • When: Sunday, July 5th | Boat Parade at 8:00 PM; Fireworks at ~9:30 PM
  • Where: Launched from The Pointe (West side of Lake Glenville)
  • What: Keep the holiday momentum going! Witness a dazzling, patriotic boat parade followed by a spectacular fireworks display that echoes off the mountains and reflects across the water. It is best viewed straight from a boat or from land at The Pines Recreation Area or open pull-offs along Highway 107 N.

🎸 Heart of Brevard Expanded 2-Day Festival

Downtown Brevard is pulling out all the stops for a historic, two-day America 250 blowout.   • When: Friday, July 3rd (5:00 PM – 10:00 PM) & Saturday, July 4th (9:00 AM – 9:45 PM)
  • Where: Downtown Brevard, NC
  • Friday, July 3rd Festivities: An evening street festival on East Main Street featuring an early look at craft vendors, local food trucks, a beer garden, and live music to set the stage for the main event.
  • Saturday, July 4th All-Day Blowout: The town comes alive starting with the Transylvania County Farmers Market (9 AM – 12 PM). The street festival continues with incredible food, a classic car show, a youth bike parade, a foam party, and mini-golf.
  • Patriotic Traditions: Take part in the official flag-raising ceremony, listen to a live reading of the Declaration of Independence (and sign a replica copy yourself!), and enjoy a community birthday cupcake.
  • The Big Finale: After dark, cap off the holiday with Brevard’s annual fireworks display! Grab a blanket and find a spot on Jailhouse Hill. Pro-Tip: Tune your radio to WSQL (1240 AM or 102.1 FM) for Frank Pearsall’s Patriotic Music Special to enjoy a perfectly synchronized soundtrack to the show.

  • Friday Night Jam Session & Buffet Dinner | Friday, July 10th at 5:00 PM (Music at 6:00 PM) – Unwind with incredible local musicians and a delicious, comforting buffet dinner.
  • Tailgate Produce & Flea Market | Saturday, July 11th from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Hunt for unique local treasures and stock up on fresh mountain produce, then sit down for a hearty breakfast buffet at the C.C. Café.

The French term “plein air” means outdoors, which refers to the practice of creating whole finished paintings outside. This year, The Village Green of Cashiers’ plein air festival artists will be painting around the beautiful locations throughout and around our beloved Cashiers Village. Artists will be painting around town from July 13-18th, 2026.
